The České Budějovice Barracudas team celebrated an impressive victory on their most recent trip to Prague, with Som and captain Phil combining to lead the team home in an impressive eighth-wicket stand.
Phil top-scored with 31 not out, and Ray and Rana had earlier provided solid contributions to help the team in chasing the target of 137 inside 25 overs of the 30-over match. PCC were bowled out for 136, with only Honza, Martin and Paul scoring in double-figures as Channa picked up three wickets and Rana had two.
Scorecard will be added ASAP!
On the Saturday, the annual Lions-Eagles match did not go to plan, with five regulars having to drop out in the last few days due to injury and illness. Hilal scored an impressive century before retiring and Chris added a half-century, but Navo led the other team with a wonderful 86 as the target of 241 was chased down. The match was a useful training exercise but unfortunately didn't deliver to the level of previous Lions-Eagles games, and we look forward to rectifying this next year.
